Western Development's Invoice/Receipt lists 11 locomotives employing the "steam safety valve": Virginia; Carson; Comstock; Nevada; Humboldt; Reno; Genoa; Empire; Esmeralda; Aurora and Ophir. Locomotive "makers" are also listed and with the exception of Aurora, manufactured by Danforth M. Co., all of the remaining locomotives were built by Baldwin Locomotive Works. Docketing panel on the V&T payment authorization signed by H. Yerington. Fine condition. |
